On International Women’s Day 2023, we proudly presented the heroic tale of our GIANT, Ms. Veena. Veena’s journey is an inspiring story of resilience and strength of a woman who faced her struggles head on to build a better life for herself and her son.

Hailing from Tumkur, Veena and her family moved to Bangalore with hopes and dreams of a bright future. Veena and her husband were exploring opportunities when they came across J24. While their new J24 store was in progress, Veena met with the tragic loss of her husband. Veena being a strong woman, took on the responsibilities quickly to lead the family. She was determined to find opportunities that will help her support her family and her son’s education. Inspired by her resilience and grit, J24 decided to stand by her side and support her. 

J24 Little Mart was established soon and we proudly welcomed our new GIANT. Veena strongly believes that children follow the footsteps of their parents and she wants to set the right example for her son through her actions. Understanding the importance of education, Veena spends two hours everyday after work tutoring his son to support him reach excellence. Veena is an inspiration to the GIANTS community and all of us at J24. It’s strong women like Veena who lead our society to greatness.
