Hailing from a humble background, Selvam started off as a cashier in a hospital. As a person who believes in putting his heart and soul into any work irrespective of its nature, he always looked out for opportunities in multiple industries. His self-confidence and motivation pushed him out of his comfort zone to try his hand at business. He started a paper manufacturing company back in his hometown where he didn’t see much success. But failure didn’t keep Selvam from exploring various career paths. Selvam took his learnings and went in search of a place where he can utilize them to build his career. That’s when he found J24 and landed himself a job as a Store Assistant at one of our stores. 

Selvam’s hard work and determination soon earned him a promotion. Selvam was given the position of Store In-charge within just 3 months. While he continued to perform well in his new role, Selvam’s eye for opportunities for growth sparked yet again. He was fascinated when J24 called upon capable local entrepreneurs to become J24 Store Owners, aka GIANTS. Observing the business function, brand value and customer retention of J24 as an employee, he found value in the idea of owning and operating his own J24 store. Selvam seized the opportunity and is now a proud J24 GIANT.
